Toothed blades for packaging machines are precisely made of high-quality stainless steel, featuring high hardness, sharp edge and excellent wear resistance. They can stably complete easy-tear notch, punching and creasing processes for packaging bags, with smooth and clean cuts, no burrs or drawing. Suitable for vertical, pillow-type and continuous sealing packaging equipment, widely used in food, daily chemical, pharmaceutical and other flexible packaging industries. Support non-standard customization according to machine models and sizes, easy to install and long service life.

The materials are adapted to different working conditions, covering multiple grades of steel and alloys, including: commonly used stainless steel such as 4Cr13 and 440B, as well as SK4 and SK5 high-carbon steel for general scenarios; high-speed steel such as SKD-11, SKH-9, and W6Mo5Cr4V2 for mid-to-high-end scenarios, which combines high strength and wear resistance; and high-end special scenarios using P17-7 high-temperature and corrosion-resistant materials, or tungsten alloys, cemented carbide, etc., with some also having tin coating, TiCN coating, and other surface treatments, with a hardness generally reaching 55-65HRC, which can ensure the long-term sharpness of the cutting edge.
Precise and stable cutting
Through precision machining and magnified inspection with an image instrument, the cutting edge is smooth and burr-free, preventing tearing and rough edges in packaging materials during cutting. The cut is clean and suitable for continuous operation on high-speed packaging production lines, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing packaging appearance.
High-quality materials combined with heat treatment process improve wear resistance and anti-wear ability. Some models with Teflon coating also have anti-stick and moisture resistance, which can reduce friction with packaging materials, reduce the probability of heat generation, and reduce the cost of frequent replacement.
In addition to standard models, non-standard customization based on drawings or samples is supported. The size, tooth shape, and blade parameters can be adjusted according to the packaging machine model to adapt to various packaging equipment such as bag making machines, carton sealing machines, and vacuum packaging machines.
These high-speed full-star and half-star packing machine blades are widely applied in modern high-speed packaging operations across multiple industries, leveraging their precision, durability, and multi-material adaptability. Key applications include:
Plastic Film & Laminate Processing: Ideal for cutting plastic films (e.g., PE, PP films) and laminates used in food packaging, daily chemical product packaging, and industrial packaging. The star-shaped geometry ensures smooth, burr-free cuts even at high production speeds, maintaining packaging integrity.
Pressure-Sensitive Label Production: Suitable for slitting, trimming, or shaping pressure-sensitive labels (such as adhesive stickers, product labels, and barcode labels). Consistent cutting performance reduces label waste and ensures uniform label sizes.
Corrugated Board Packaging: Used in corrugated box manufacturing lines for cutting, creasing, or trimming corrugated boards. Exceptional wear resistance withstands the abrasion of corrugated materials during high-volume production.
Composite Material Cutting: Applicable to composite packaging materials (e.g., paper-plastic composites, aluminum-plastic composites) commonly used in pharmaceutical packaging, electronic product packaging, and gift packaging. Versatile design eliminates the need for specialized blades for different composites.
Woven Bag & Film Packaging: Compatible with woven bag production and film-based packaging processes (e.g., agricultural film packaging, industrial bulk packaging). Long service life and low maintenance reduce downtime in continuous production lines.
These blades are designed for multi-material processing, including plastic films, laminates, pressure-sensitive labels, corrugated boards, and various composite materials. They eliminate the need for multiple blade types, simplifying inventory management.
Thanks to their low-maintenance design, robust construction, and specialized cryogenic treatment, the blades resist wear and damage. Under normal high-volume operating conditions, they require minimal adjustments and have a prolonged service life, significantly reducing replacement frequency compared to standard blades. Specific replacement cycles depend on usage intensity and material hardness.
Yes. The star-shaped geometry and balanced design minimize friction, enabling smooth operation in fast-paced packaging lines without sacrificing accuracy. The precision-engineered cutting geometry and strict manufacturing tolerances ensure clean, consistent cuts even at maximum production speeds.
