The titanium-coated packaging machine blades use Cr12MoV alloy tool steel as the base material. The coating enhances wear resistance by 3 times, and provides anti-sticking and corrosion resistance. Select materials precisely based on packaging type
Thin and soft materials (PE film, PP film, non-woven fabric, snack bags)
Recommended materials: SKD11 (titanium-coated), food-grade 440C stainless steel
Reasons for selection: Thin and soft materials are prone to sticking to the knife; the titanium coating can prevent adhesion; food packaging must meet safety compliance, and 440C stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and has no residue.
Applicable scenarios: Vertical / pillow packaging machines, food packaging assembly lines.
Thick and hard materials (cowhide paper bags, woven bags, composite aluminum foil bags, express bags)
Recommended materials: Hard alloy (tungsten steel), Cr12MoV (high-frequency quenching)
Reasons for selection: Thick and hard materials cause significant wear on the cutting edge; the high hardness of hard alloy can withstand strong friction; Cr12MoV has a high cost-performance ratio and is suitable for small and medium-scale production.
Applicable scenarios: Heavy-duty cutting packaging machines, e-commerce express bag sealing machines.
High temperature / special environments (heat shrinkable film, high-temperature boiling bags)
Recommended materials: SKD11 (nitriding treatment), hard alloy
Reasons for selection: Nitriding-treated SKD11 has good heat resistance and can withstand the friction of high-temperature films; hard alloy has strong high-temperature stability and is not prone to deformation.
According to the classification by tooth shape
Straight tooth knife
Tooth shape characteristics: The tooth edges are straight, the pitch is uniform, and the cutting edge is sharp and flat
Suitable materials: Thin PE film, PP film, food preservation bags and other soft packaging materials
Advantages: The seal after cutting is flat, it is not easy to have wire pulling or damage, suitable for small packaging of food and snacks
Wavy tooth knife (arc-shaped tooth knife)
Tooth shape characteristics: The tooth edges are in a continuous wavy shape, the tooth peaks are round
Suitable materials: Courier bags, woven bags, thick composite films, etc., hard packaging materials
Advantages: The force is uniform during cutting, the impact resistance is strong, it can easily cut through thick and hard materials, and the cut edge forms an easy-to-tear opening
T-shaped tooth knife
Tooth shape characteristics: The tooth head is in the shape of a T, the root is thickened, and the toughness is stronger
Suitable materials: Heavy-duty paper-plastic composite bags, aluminum foil bags, heat shrinkable films
Advantages: Wear-resistant, anti-balling, suitable for long-term continuous operation of high-speed packaging production lines
